In July 2005 I accidentally discovered eBay when my children persuaded me to buy compact discs (CDs) of music for them.  They convinced me that CDs are cheaper on eBay than in the music retail shops.  Unwittingly I opened an account on eBay and little did I know this massive selling platform will be an integral tool in my online business when I decided to quit the corporate world in January 2007.
